Leveling the Legal Playing Field

Legio is a network of top-tier and boutique law firms with expertise in a broad range of disciplines throughout the world.

Legio

Our Vision

The Legio vision is to promote the expertise of our top tier global network of firms to large corporations. Creating more diverse and cost-effective legal representation of the highest reputation.

Using our proprietary technology, we make it as simple for a client to work with our network as it is to work with a single large firm and yet our member law firms still retain their independence and autonomy.

Values

For the benefit of our firms, our clients, and society.

Excellence

We demand excellence in the law firms that are part of our network.  They are category-leading in their geographic regions and specializations as well as cost-efficient and diverse.

We demand excellence of ourselves, both in the work that is conducted through our network and in the technology we employ.

Cost-Effective

It is important to us that we provide legal services at a rate that is proportional to the service being offered. We believe the large premium charged by big law will one day be looked at the way expensive mainframe computers are today–something rendered obsolete by a smart network.

Transparency

Technology can and should bring a new level of transparency to legal representation, building trust. LEGIO provides:

  • Transparent billing. We wind together data from our firms to give clients a single monthly bill, with tools to get quick approval from stakeholders and drill down by firm, matter, or diversity metrics.

  • Transparent document sharing. Connecting to the authentication systems of both clients and firms, LEGIO creates secure, simple methods to share and discuss documents.

  • Transparent work process: We give our clients unprecedented ability to collaborate with firms around documents or strategy.

Diversity

Corporations increasingly demand that their law firms, like their other vendors, are aligned with their diversity goals. We select diverse firms in the network.  We offer a means to allow clients to set goals for inclusiveness of their legal team and confirm at any time that those goals are met.
